Queens Tennis Club – Social Space Fit Out (for Knight Harwood)

The Queen’s Club is a private members club and is one of the UK’s leading sporting and social destinations. The redevelopment of the Pavilion Building front of house area including, bars, café and social spaces, was designed by Hill Mitchell Berry Architects.
The works encompassed the reconfiguration of the Members Bar, Players Bar, café bar, TV lounge, WC facilities and external Terrace, in order to improve the social and entertaining space whilst also supporting the AEGON Championships held at the Club every year. The Club remained ‘live’ throughout the redevelopment of the Pavilion Building and the works respected the club’s programme of events.
Calanpoint works included all the general and specialist joinery including new windows and glazed doors to the terrace; stained oak Members bar and wall panellin; stained oak Players bar, with painted panelling and feature ceiling; TV Lounge storage units and fireplace surround; Front and rear Café stained oak bar, painted panelling and feature ceiling; WC timber and stone vanity units, timber doors, frames and skirtings; internal doors, frames, architraves and skirtings.
