The Sheraton Hotel, Heathrow – Refurbishment (for 8build)

The Sheraton Hotel Group is the provider of luxury hotel accommodation across 482 hotels in 71 different countries. Their hotel at Heathrow required the refurbishment of the reception, bars and dining areas, in order to update the look and provide the hotel with a more modern and functionally designed space. The client wanted the new design to facilitate the smooth new way of operating the hotel whilst providing their guests with a dazzling reception to greet them on arrival. The hotel was fully occupied during the time of the works, with an early hand over of the check-in desks, front lobby and new coffee shop at the clients request. The scheme was designed by Y2DC Architects.
Calanpoint works included all the general and specialist joinery including stained oak check in desks, 5m high stained oak bookcase room dividers, stained ash slatted walls, food and beverage counters (heated and chilled), upholstered banquette seating, painted feature timber ceiling panels, limed oak bars and storage units and full fit out of the new coffee shop.
